runner

The Star City 5K starts and finishes at Sierra Point in Brisbane, CA (the city of stars), just south of San Francisco. The mostly flat course loops around the Sierra point area before going along the San Francisco Bay Trail (bike path), giving participants views of the bay and possibly even some pelicans. The 5K course is USATF certified (certification# CA18001) so that times run in this race would be eligible for records or official Personal Records (PRs).

Women’s Only 5K (Competitive) – 8:00am start

ALL women competing in the USATF Grand Prix must enter this heat to be eligible for scoring.   USATF membership is not required to enter this heat and any woman looking to compete for time or age awards are welcome to run in this heat.  Women in this heat will likely run in the range of approximately 17-45 mins but these are not cut-off times.

All Comers 5K (all genders) – 9:00am start

This heat is open to runners, joggers, and walkers of all abilities. USATF men are expected to compete in this heat.

Commemorative gifts are only guaranteed to those who pre-register by April 23, 2020. Check out the registration page to learn more about prices and how to register.

The Star City 5K is part of the Pacific Association-USA Track & Field (PAUSATF) Road Grand Prix.
